There’s different schools of thought on washing denim. If you choose to wash (we personally wash ours every 4 months or so), be sure to wash them on a cool and delicate cycle, or soak them in a cool bath. These jeans are pre- washed, so any shrinkage will be minimal - expect 1 to 2 cm shrinkage in the leg length and none in the waist

When selecting a size, take into account how you might want to style them: if simply with a t-shirt, stay at your size; size up if you plan to tuck sweaters into the waist. If in doubt stay at your size. After a couple of months of wearing these jeans they soften around the waist-line and give a little more.

Backstory

This denim been eco-enzyme washed and then salt-water rinsed for a worn, more rolling sort of hand-feel. Kind of like that good old US navy denim, with a very-subtle neppy softer finish to the 14oz denim. Inspired by early 1920s naval pants but cut just right for 100 years later

Style notes

The slightly softer finish gives a more trouser-like hang to them and lend themselves to be paired with loafers or trainers. Ideal with a t-shirt or light sweater tucked into the waist
